This group provides for the care and maintenance of the altar and linens. They attend Mass together as a group on the first Sunday of the month.

This group coordinates and establishes the basic guidelines for the sports programs for our youth at the elementary level. Sports include basketball, baseball and cheerleading.

Catholic Harvest Food Pantry • 717-846-8571
St. Rose joins with St. Mary’s, St. Patrick’s and St. Joe’s to provide food and basic living items to the needy of the York area. Grocery bags with wish list items are distributed four times a year. Volunteers are also welcome to assist at the panty on East Market Street.

This group meets weekly on Tuesday mornings from 9-12 to keep the church and parish center clean for gathering and worship. Other odd jobs arise that may need assistance, too. We welcome new hands to help once or twice a month, if not on a regular basis.

This is a sister organization to the Knights of Columbus, sharing a similar mission, yet providing distinct leadership and projects. Regular meetings are held the 4th Tuesday of month at St. Joseph’s Parish in York at 7:30 pm. New members are welcome.

This is an interfaith group who serves meals to the needy of York City on weekends. Volunteers prepare meals and distribute goods as requested.

The basement of the church serves as a distribution center to families in need on the third Tuesday of each month. This is headed by the St. Rose Knights of Columbus and additional volunteers are welcome.

Selected for living in a good Catholic manner and for service to the parish and community, these ministers assist the priest with distribution of Holy Communion at Mass as well as to the homebound.

Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place. Some activities include weekly meetings held on Monday evenings, field trips, craft activities, camping trips, community service projects and making new friends. Girls age 5-17 meet in the Parish Center on Monday evenings.

The Religious Education Program offers curriculum for young people from the nursery to high school levels.
